Historique
Fondé à la fin du 10e siècle, le prieuré bénédictin dépendait de l'abbaye de Jumièges. Il connut une grande prospérité économique à la fin du 13e siècle et bénéficia à cette époque d'une importante campagne de construction. La grange monastique est de la fin du 13e siècle ou début du 14e siècle, avec un pressoir construit à la fin du 15e siècle, dans lequel subsistent le tour à pommes et la presse à longue étreinte. De la même époque subsiste également la chapelle, portant des traces de peintures murales. Les autres bâtiments d'exploitation qui entourent la cour sont des constructions plus récentes (du 16e au 18e siècle). La laiterie et les écuries sont beaucoup plus récentes. La maison priorale a été reconstruite en 1771 et entièrement réaménagée au 19e siècle. History
Founded at the end of the 10th century, the Benedictine priory depended on the abbey of Jumièges. It enjoyed great economic prosperity at the end of the 13th century and benefited at that time from an important building campaign. The monastic barn is from the end of the 13th century or early 14th century, with a cider press built at the end of the 15th century, in which remain the apple press and the long-screw press. From the same period also subsists the chapel, bearing traces of wall paintings. The other farm buildings that surround the courtyard are more recent constructions (from the 16th to the 18th century). The dairy and stables are much more recent. The prioral house was rebuilt in 1771 and entirely refurbished in the 19th century.
