In the 11th century there existed a fortified house which grew to become, in the 16th century, a fortified castle surrounded by wide moats. The angles were flanked by four large circular towers. At the beginning of the 18th century, the castle is entirely renovated. From 1705, a central pavilion flanked by two wings terminated by massive pavilions replaces the old building. In 1722, a tower collapses. At the beginning of the 19th century, the west wing and pavilion, burned, must be demolished. Today there remain two towers out of four, and half of a long building of the 18th century, which connected the two missing towers.
