Le château occupe la place de l'ancien village dont l'église se trouvait à l'emplacement de l'orangerie. Ils disparurent vers 1768. History
The castle occupies the place of the former village whose church was located at the site of the orangery. They disappeared around 1768. A manor of the 13th century preceded the present castle, situated on the mound above the vegetable garden. This building disappeared to make way for the present castle, built from 1763 to 1767. The building is situated at the end of a formal garden bordered to the north by the orangery, the farm and the gardeners' lodging; to the south by the stables and the lodge-keeper's residence. The formal garden was reduced under Louis XVIII when the road was created. This castle is a fine example of the classical style of the end of the reign of Louis XV. The interior is furnished with panelling as well as tapestries coming from the former manor. The paintings are by François Snyders.
