Le château présente un donjon presque carré, flanqué de quatre étroits pavillons d'angle carrés et coiffés de lanternons. L'édifice était entouré de larges fossés. L'édifice connut des travaux intérieurs et extérieurs aux 17e, 18e et 19e siècles. En 1733, mise en place de la cheminée monumentale de la salle d'entrée et des boiseries Régence du grand salon. Les deux tours de l'ouest, dont seuls les soubassements avaient été commencés, furent achevés en 1835. La façade nord fut remaniée au 18e siècle.

History
The castle presents an almost square keep, flanked by four narrow square corner pavilions and topped with small lanterns. The building was surrounded by wide moats. The building underwent interior and exterior works in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. In 1733, installation of the monumental fireplace of the entrance hall and the Regency woodwork of the great salon. The two towers of the west, of which only the foundations had been begun, were completed in 1835. The north façade was remodelled in the 18th century.
