Historique
Ancienne demeure noble ou de riche bourgeoisie. La rue du Bercail, autrefois de la Personne, est évoquée par Balzac dans son roman "La vieille fille", et cet hôtel a pu lui servir de modèle. Façade percée d'une porte cochère ouvrant sur cour, sans décor sculpté mais présentant cinq balcons en fer forgé. A l'intérieur, deux pièces conservent d'intéressantes boiseries. Dans l'ancienne salle à manger, des toiles encastrées dans le cadre contourné des trumeaux de porte, représentent des scènes de chasse et de repas. Dans le grand salon, le centre de chacun des côtés est marqué par un important trumeau superposant une glace et une toile peinte. Les trumeaux des portes sont également ornés de toiles peintes représentant des scènes d'enfance et des paysages faussement rustiques.

Former noble residence or wealthy bourgeoisie dwelling. Rue du Bercail, formerly Rue de la Personne, is evoked by Balzac in his novel "La vieille fille", and this hôtel may have served as a model for it. Façade pierced with a carriage gateway opening onto a courtyard, without sculptural decoration but presenting five wrought-iron balconies. Inside, two rooms retain interesting woodwork. In the former dining room, canvases set into the contoured frame of the door mullions represent hunting and dining scenes. In the great drawing room, the centre of each side is marked by an important mullion superimposing a mirror and a painted canvas. The mullions of the doors are also ornamented with painted canvases representing childhood scenes and falsely rustic landscapes.
