La chapelle a été construite à la charnière des 14e et 15e siècles, puis a été transformée en ermitage au 17e siècle (vers 1620) , jusqu'en 1830, date de la mort du dernier ermite. History
This hermitage constitutes a unique testimony to hermitic life in the department of Manche. The chapel was built at the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries, then was transformed into a hermitage in the 17th century (around 1620), until 1830, the date of the death of the last hermit. Since then, the hermitage has been left abandoned; the vault collapsed in 1947-1948.
