Ce retranchement est situé au sommet des falaises qui dominent la mer en bordure du batholite de Flamanville. Il est installé sur un vaste promontoire orienté sud-nord, isolé par deux petits vallons. Il comporte un ancien rempart de terre affaissé comportant en son centre un réseau de pièces de bois carbonisées. Les vestiges recueillis, essentiellement céramiques, sont typiques de la phase moyenne de l'Age du Bronze final (entre 900 et 800 avant J.-C.).

History
This entrenchment is situated at the summit of the cliffs that overlook the sea on the edge of the Flamanville batholith. It is installed on a vast promontory oriented south-north, isolated by two small valleys. It comprises an old collapsed earthen rampart containing at its centre a network of charred wooden pieces. The remains gathered, essentially ceramics, are typical of the middle phase of the Final Bronze Age (between 900 and 800 BC).
