Historique
Le choeur de deux travées peut dater de la toute fin du 12ème siècle ou des premières années du 13ème siècle ainsi que la croisée du transept. La nef, également de deux travées, indique une construction remontant au milieu du 13ème siècle. Cette première église fut agrandie au 14ème siècle avec, notamment, la construction de deux chapelles et la reprise des croisillons. A la suite d'un grave dommage affectant le côté nord, il fut procédé au revoûtement de la chapelle et à une modification des deux piles nord de la croisée du transept (début du 16ème siècle). Le clocher carré qui s'élève sur la croisée est remarquable par son couronnement. En 2008, à l'occasion de la réfection du choeur, des peintures murales ont été mises au jour. Il s'agit d'un cycle consacré à l'Apocalypse et qui pourrait remonter au 14ème siècle, correspondant ainsi à la phase de restructuration de l'édifice et de son agrandissement autour du choeur.

History
The choir of two bays may date from the very end of the 12th century or the early years of the 13th century, as does the transept crossing. The nave, also of two bays, indicates construction dating to the middle of the 13th century. This first church was enlarged in the 14th century with, in particular, the construction of two chapels and the reworking of the transept arms. Following serious damage affecting the north side, the chapel was revaulted and the two north piers of the transept crossing were modified (early 16th century). The square bell tower which rises above the crossing is remarkable for its crowning. In 2008, during the restoration of the choir, mural paintings were uncovered. This is a cycle devoted to the Apocalypse and which could date back to the 14th century, corresponding thus to the phase of restructuring of the edifice and its enlargement around the choir.
