Historique
L'église abrite le tombeau du bienheureux Thomas Elye (pèlerinage important depuis le 13e siècle). Le choeur a été reconstruit dans la seconde moitié du 13e siècle pour abriter le tombeau du saint ; le clocher et porche ont été reconstruits au 17e siècle ; la nef a été remaniée au 17e siècle, puis rasée en 1920 et remplacée entre 1922 et 1926 par une réplique à trois nefs de la salle des chevaliers du Mont-Saint-Michel, dans le style néo-gothique. Les vitraux sont l'oeuvre de Barillet (1935-1937).

History
The church houses the tomb of the blessed Thomas Elye (important pilgrimage since the 13th century). The choir was rebuilt in the second half of the 13th century to house the saint's tomb; the bell tower and porch were rebuilt in the 17th century; the nave was remodelled in the 17th century, then razed in 1920 and replaced between 1922 and 1926 by a replica with three naves of the knights' hall of Mont-Saint-Michel, in the neo-Gothic style. The stained glass windows are the work of Barillet (1935-1937).
