Historique
Château original construit par Louis Cathus, familier de Louis II de la Trémoille. En 1525, Jean Cathus fait poursuivre la construction et l'embellissement du château. Au XVIIIe siècle, le château est délaissé par ses propriétaires. Au XIXe siècle, deux propriétaires successifs, Léon Aude vers 1850 et le Comte de Las Cases en 1876 restaurèrent le château : entre 1850 et 1860. En 1878, Las Cases fait achever le château par l'architecte Victor Clair.

History
Castle originally built by Louis Cathus, familiar of Louis II of la Trémoille. In 1525, Jean Cathus has the construction and embellishment of the castle continued. In the 18th century, the castle is neglected by its owners. In the 19th century, two successive owners, Léon Aude around 1850 and the Count of Las Cases in 1876 restored the castle: between 1850 and 1860. In 1878, Las Cases has the castle completed by the architect Victor Clair.
