Au 14e siècle, édification du grand logis contre le mur d'enceinte à l'est, moulin à eau, agrandissement du donjon. Au 16e siècle, petits éperons nord-est et nord-ouest, ouvrage en tenaille au sud. En 1628, démantèlement de la forteresse sur ordre de Richelieu.
