En 1737, l'hôtel devient la propriété d'un associé de Guillaume Véron (inventeur d'un procédé de dégraissage des laines) ; on construit alors une halle, des fourneaux, des chaudières à teinture et une calandre pour la fabrication des toiles gommées. History
In 1737, the hotel became the property of an associate of Guillaume Véron (inventor of a process for scouring wools); a hall, furnaces, vats for dyeing and a calender for the manufacture of dressed cloths were then constructed. At the end of the 18th century, the building became a hotel again, then an inn, and remained so for a century and a half until around 1930, when it became a private residence.
