Les deux moulins à vent tours des Grands-Jardins ont été construits immédiatement au nord du village de Montigné-sur-Moine, au cours de la deuxième moitié du 19e siècle, et plus précisément en 1860, pour Joseph Chauveau, en ce qui concerne le moulin ouest. £Le moulin est (parcelle 384) , présente une tour cylindrique, dont la toiture est détruite, comprenant un niveau de soubassement formant réserve, un rez-de-chaussée surélevé à deux portes diamétralement opposées et un étage. History
The two tower windmills of the Grands-Jardins were built immediately north of the village of Montigné-sur-Moine, during the second half of the 19th century, and more precisely in 1860, for Joseph Chauveau, as far as the western mill is concerned. The eastern mill (parcel 384) presents a cylindrical tower, whose roof is destroyed, comprising a basement level forming a store, a raised ground floor with two diametrically opposite doors and one floor. Inside, at the level of the first floor, two pairs of millstones are in place as well as a Watt governor. The tower of the western mill, truncated cone in form, comprises three storeys. The roof is destroyed and on the remains of the rotating frame that carried the roof, still hang the long worm gear that allowed the latter to be oriented, and part of the drive shaft. The base of the tower is enclosed by two buildings: the miller's dwelling and agricultural parts.
