Les fours à chaux de la Veurière ou de Saint-Anne comptent trois grosses unités qui étaient déjà mentionnées dans le cadastre de 1832 et documentées en 1857. Ils ont cessé leur activité au milieu du 20e siècle. Ces trois fours sont hauts d'environ 15 mètres et leur diamètre varie de un à deux mètres (en tonneau) dans un massif bâti long de 150 mètres. History
The lime kilns of la Veurière or of Saint-Anne comprise three large units which were already mentioned in the 1832 cadastre and documented in 1857. They ceased activity in the middle of the 20th century. These three kilns are approximately 15 metres high and their diameter varies from one to two metres (barrel-shaped) in a built mass 150 metres long. Loading was done via the upper access ramp, continuous calcination continued by short flame for several days on coal and coke. The interior of the kilns is star-shaped, with three-directional discharge. The mass is in granite and red schist, with buttresses. The openings are round arch, with a lean-to.
