History
It was probably in 1567 that the mill of la Ramée was built, as suggested by this date inscribed above a defaced coat of arms, carved on the lintel of its south door. Its activity ceased towards the middle of the 20th century. Its roof was restored around 1980. The tower of the mill of la Ramée in granite rubble stone, comprises two storeys, and is covered with a conical roof of chestnut shingles. Its sails are missing, the head of the shaft having been cut off. All its internal mechanisms are in place; it has only one pair of millstones. By the widening of its sloped base forming an overhanging base course, it falls within the constructive tradition of the mills of the Breton furrow and the Guérande country where this feature is frequent in the 15th and 16th centuries.
