History
In the 16th century, the castle comprised a large main dwelling flanked by two pavilions where the staircases were located. The surface was almost doubled by additions from the 17th century. Inside, large fireplaces from the 16th century are preserved as well as significant remains of 17th-century decoration. The castle is preceded by a large courtyard closed by an enclosure with carriage gate and postern gate adjacent to an old keep.
