Historique
De la fin du 15e siècle ou du début du 16e siècle, suivant les moulurations d'encadrement des baies. La légende veut que le meunier Yves Querbic, trop pauvre pour construire son moulin, aurait demandé au diable d'y pourvoir ; l'oeuvre faite, le meunier y installa une statuette sainte qui fit fuir le démon. La tour de Crémeur est un "petit-pied", de modèle breton. D'un travail soigné, sa maçonnerie en granite de taille, présente un rez-de-chaussée à assise débordante. L'encorbellement portant l'étage est décoré de trois larges moulures en ressaut. L'une des fenêtres conserve les consoles du treuil et, dans une niche à accolade, prend place une statuette de la Vierge à l'Enfant, celle-là même, à n'en pas douter, qui effraya le diable. La toiture, restaurée, est en bardeaux de châtaignier : l'arbre moteur porte les deux verges munies de leurs verrons qui recevaient les voiles. À l'opposé, le guivre et la perche du frein sont conservés.

History
From the late 15th century or the early 16th century, according to the moulded frames of the openings. Legend has it that the miller Yves Querbic, too poor to build his mill, asked the devil to provide for it; the work done, the miller installed in it a little statuette of a saint which made the demon flee. The tower of Crémeur is a "petit-pied", of Breton model. Of careful workmanship, its ashlar granite masonry presents a ground floor with projecting courses. The corbelling carrying the storey is decorated with three broad moulded projections. One of the windows retains the pulleys of the winch and, in a niche with an ogival hood, is placed a statuette of the Virgin and Child, the very one, without doubt, which frightened the devil. The roof, restored, is in chestnut shingles: the driving tree carries the two shafts fitted with their iron ferrules which received the sails. On the opposite side, the wyvern and the brake pole are preserved.
