Construite entre 1875 et 1878, cette tour servit à la fabrication des plombs de chasse et fut reprise par l'usine de plomb La Vieille vers 1935, puis par la Société des mines et fonderie de Pongibaud, puis par la société Tréfimétaux, avant d'être rachetée par la commune. History
Built between 1875 and 1878, this tower was used for the manufacture of shot and was subsequently taken over by the lead factory La Vieille around 1935, then by the Société des mines et fonderie de Pongibaud, then by the company Tréfimétaux, before being repurchased by the commune. It rises to approximately 60 metres in height and its diameter is 11.30 metres. The molten material was precipitated from the summit and cooled during its fall, it was recovered at ground level. The protected equipment comprises the lifting hoist, receiving vats, a furnace, two melting vats and various tools.
