Blockhaus faisant partie du système de défense allemande datant de la Deuxième Guerre mondiale, en arrière du mur de l'Atlantique. Blockhaus forming part of the German defence system dating from the Second World War, behind the Atlantic Wall. The work on this concrete construction, intended to shelter a manufacturing base for V2 missiles and a liquid oxygen production plant, extends from December 1942 to November 1943; the site employs 2,000 men. Bombed in August 1943 and again in 1944, the blockhaus is abandoned in March of the same year, without its installations ever having functioned.
