Transporté à la fin du 19e siècle, depuis sa construction, datée de 1756, comme le précise une inscription flamande, ce moulin à vent, à farine, de type pivot, avait été primitivement aménagé par un nommé de Smyttere. En 1921, menaçant ruine, il fut racheté par Abel Deschodt et remis à neuf. Celui-ci l'a donné à la commune. Le moulin a été restauré en 1982-83 par l'ARAM.

History
Moved at the end of the 19th century, since its construction, dated 1756, as specified by a Flemish inscription, this pivot-type windmill for grinding flour, had originally been fitted out by someone named de Smyttere. In 1921, threatening ruin, it was repurchased by Abel Deschodt and restored. He gave it to the commune. The mill was restored in 1982-83 by ARAM.
