Ce château a été édifié au 18e siècle sur les fondations d'un château du 14e siècle ; il est construit en briques rose orangé ponctuées de pierres calcaires sur un soubassement en grès. History
This castle was built in the 18th century on the foundations of a 14th century castle; it is constructed in pink-orange bricks punctuated with limestone stones on a sandstone plinth. The aerial view shows the rectangular plan of the former fortress flanked by cylindrical towers and surrounded by moats. Inside, certain rooms in the towers have retained their vaults, their gun-ports, their hidden staircase... The guardroom was refurbished in the second half of the 19th century; the dining room is decorated with paintings by J. Léonard (1848); the office has early 19th century woodwork; the kitchen is vaulted in barrel vault of bricks.
