History
The flour mill of Hofland, also called the mill of Accou, can be considered as dating mainly from the 18th century. An element of the mechanisms, the hedgehog gear, bears the date of 1782 and the inscription door my gemaekt / Es. Nevejan I'voor / Franciscus Blanckaert (made by me / Es. Nevejan for / François Blanckaert). It was renovated in 1890-1891 by the mill carpenter Désiré Demeerseman, whose initials appear on the crusher and on a crossing on the base.
