Daté de 1802, ce moulin à farine, dit Ondankmeulen en flamand, déménagé de la Motte du Bois, près d'Hazebroucq, est un modèle pivot, typique des moulins du Nord, charpenté de bois. Sa lourde cabine s'appuie sur le pivot, épaulé par des étais obliques reposant sur une socle en pierre de taille. Ce pivot permet la rotation et une orientation face aux vents. La cabine, disposée sur deux étages et équipée de la machinerie meunière (une paire de meules) , est en essentages de planches verticales, avec toit en bâtière brisé et échelle extérieure ; les ailes à traverses présentent l'inclinaison classique qui optimise la prise au vent. Disposition d'un rendement jugé insuffisant, puisque le moulin fut équipé d'un moteur à gaz pauvre auxiliaire. Arrêté en 1958, le moulin a été restauré par la commune.

History
Dated to 1802, this flour mill, called Ondankmeulen in Flemish, moved from the Motte du Bois, near Hazebroucq, is a pivot model, typical of mills in the North, framed in wood. Its heavy cabin rests on the pivot, supported by oblique struts resting on a stone plinth. This pivot allows rotation and orientation facing the winds. The cabin, arranged on two storeys and equipped with the milling machinery (a pair of millstones), is in vertical board cladding, with broken hip roof and external ladder; the sails with crosspieces present the classical inclination which optimizes the wind capture. Arrangement of an efficiency judged insufficient, since the mill was equipped with an auxiliary low-pressure gas engine. Stopped in 1958, the mill was restored by the commune.
