La pierre de fondation qui se trouve dans une cave précise que l'édifice a été élevé sous la conduite et la direction du sieur Beauvais, maître charpentier et entrepreneur de la ville de Cambrai. History
On land which belonged to them, and in place of buildings undoubtedly contemporary with the tower, the monks of the abbey St Aubert of Cambrai had built in 1788, under the prelacy of Jean-François-Marie-Joseph Isebraut de Lendonck, the château that we know.
