History
Patronal hostel, intended to house numerous social, sporting and cultural activities and comprising a theatre and society rooms, built from 1910 at the instigation of the Laundry and Dyeing Works company of Thaon, owner of a workers' city of 1,300 dwellings. The building, whose plan forms a Lorraine cross, is the half-regional half-modern work of architect Desclers, with extensions by architect Albert Hébrard in 1920. The great room of the rotunda is decorated with wall paintings by Löys Prat.
