Château antérieur à 1164, réédifié au 13e siècle. Au 16e siècle, une partie de ses défenses est supprimée pour construire la maison seigneuriale. Il appartient à la seconde génération des châteaux en Lorraine, aménagé en résidence à partir de 1578. Logis totalement repercé en 1835.

History
Castle prior to 1164, rebuilt in the 13th century. In the 16th century, part of its defences was removed to build the seigneurial house. It belongs to the second generation of castles in Lorraine, adapted as a residence from 1578 onwards. Main dwelling completely opened up in 1835.
