La tour Saint-Vanne faisait partie de l'ancienne abbaye Saint-Vanne, fondée au 10e siècle dans le style roman rhénan. Une nouvelle église abbatiale a été construite au 13e siècle. History
The Saint-Vanne tower was part of the former abbey of Saint-Vanne, founded in the 10th century in the Rhineland Romanesque style. A new abbatial church was constructed in the 13th century. The abbey was partly demolished in 1830 and its destruction was completed during the war of 1870. The tower served as an observation post and wireless telegraphy post during the First World War.
