Synagogue construite de 1787 à 1788 par larchitecte Augustin Charles Piroux, auteur de la synagogue de Lunéville. Agrandie et remaniée en 1841 et 1861, elle reçoit une nouvelle façade en 1935, dessinée par larchitecte Alfred Thomas, au moment de louverture du boulevard Joffre. Elle porte linscription « Tu aimeras ton prochain comme toi-même ».

History
Synagogue built from 1787 to 1788 by the architect Augustin Charles Piroux, author of the synagogue of Lunéville. Enlarged and remodelled in 1841 and 1861, it received a new façade in 1935, designed by the architect Alfred Thomas, at the time of the opening of boulevard Joffre. It bears the inscription "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself".
