Historique
La demeure a été élevée entre 1715 et 1733 pour Louis de Ferraris, chambellan de l'empereur d'Autriche, grand chambellan et conseiller d'Etat de Charles de Lorraine. History
The dwelling was built between 1715 and 1733 for Louis de Ferraris, chamberlain of the Emperor of Austria, Grand Chamberlain and State Councillor of Charles of Lorraine. The plans are said to be due to Germain Boffrand. The grand staircase was decorated in trompe-l'oeil by Giacomo Barilli. On the first floor of the main body and the left wing are arranged in enfilade four drawing rooms, served by the grand staircase and a secondary staircase. They have preserved their 18th-century wainscoting and their parquet floors with Hungarian point and Versailles patterns. The decoration was remodeled in the early 19th century with ceiling friezes, fireplaces and mirrors. The great drawing room is adorned with gilded stucco attributed to Joseph Beunat.
