Le château d'Haroué a été construit par Germain Boffrand entre 1720 et 1732 pour Marc de Beauvau-Craon, grand connétable de Lorraine. Boffrand intègre dans la nouvelle construction les éléments subsistants de l'ancienne forteresse de Bassompierre. Les grilles sont dues à Jean Lamour et la statuaire à Barthélémy Guibal. History
The château d'Haroué was built by Germain Boffrand between 1720 and 1732 for Marc de Beauvau-Craon, grand constable of Lorraine. Boffrand incorporates into the new construction the surviving elements of the former fortress of Bassompierre. The grilles are due to Jean Lamour and the statuary to Barthélémy Guibal.
