Sans avoir été une grande habitation sucrière, Gaschette possédait un certain nombre d'équipements (moulins à bêtes, puits à vapeur, chaudière, ...). History
All that remains of the old Gaschette plantation are the walls of what tradition calls "slave dungeons" and the enclosure of the estate with its elongated form. Without being a large sugar plantation, Gaschette possessed a certain number of facilities (animal mills, steam wells, boiler, ...). These ruins are one of the last vestiges of sugar-making activity in this commune in the 18th century.
