History
Ruins of Saint-Pierre caused by the eruption of Mount Pelée on 8 May 1902. The Engineering Bureau is according to a plan of 1868 an ensemble which is distributed along three terraces. In the upper part, an elevation of one storey which dominates a monumental staircase equipped with a double cascade falling into a basin. At the intermediate terrace, there are two basins on either side and at the lower part, there are two corner pavilions. Former dwelling which passed into the public domain towards the middle of the 19th century.
