Historique
La paroisse de Trois-Ilets existe depuis 1683. L'église actuelle, où la future impératrice des Français, Joséphine, a été baptisée, été construite au milieu du 18e siècle. Elle a été restaurée en 1890 après un cyclone et agrandie de deux collatéraux en 1950. A la fin de 1994, un incendie détruit presqu'entièrement la sacristie et le choeur. History
The parish of Trois-Ilets has existed since 1683. The present church, where the future empress of the French, Josephine, was baptised, was built in the middle of the 18th century. It was restored in 1890 after a cyclone and enlarged by two aisles in 1950. At the end of 1994, a fire destroys almost entirely the sacristy and the choir. The church is completely restored between 1995 and 2000.
