Prieuré sans doute fondé au 10e siècle, et qui dépendait de l'abbaye Saint-Cyprien de Poitiers. Au 15e siècle, la chapelle a été restaurée, voire reconstruite. A la Révolution, le prieuré tombe dans le domaine privé après avoir été pillé et saccagé. L'édifice s'ordonne autour d'une cour rectangulaire. La chapelle occupe l'aile sud. Les ailes ouest et nord servent de dépendances. Le logis, bâtiment rectangulaire avec une tour carrée sur cour, se trouve dans l'aile Est. La chapelle conserve des vestiges ornementaux flamboyants. History
Priory doubtless founded in the 10th century, and which was dependent on the abbey of Saint-Cyprien in Poitiers. In the 15th century, the chapel was restored, or even rebuilt.
