Le château est une construction antérieure à 1555 et connut différents travaux d'aménagement entre 1617 et 1627. Le logis, de plan trapézoïdal et flanqué de quatre tourelles d'angle, se dresse au fond d'une cour d'honneur. Un pavillon d'angle appelé ancienne chapelle est toujours visible. Le pavillon d'entrée se distingue par sa façade en pierre de taille et sa couverture en ardoise tandis que les communs sont en moellons sous couverture en tuiles plates. Ce pavillon est fermé par un portail aux menuiseries anciennes et communique avec la cour par un passage voûté d'arêtes. Cette aile sert de logement et de dépendances et a conservé l'essentiel de sa modénature.

History
The castle is a construction prior to 1555 and underwent various works of alteration between 1617 and 1627. The main dwelling, of trapezoidal plan and flanked by four corner turrets, stands at the far end of a courtyard of honour. A corner pavilion called the old chapel is still visible. The entrance pavilion is distinguished by its façade of ashlar stone and its slate roof while the outbuildings are in rubble stone under flat tile covering. This pavilion is closed by a gate with old joinery and communicates with the courtyard by a passage with groin vault. This wing serves as dwelling and dependencies and has retained the essential part of its modelling.
