History
The 15th and 16th centuries were periods of trouble which explain the fortification of the commandery by its corner tower. It was also surrounded by an enclosure comprising a drawbridge. Weakened by the Wars of Religion, the commandery was sold as national property after the Revolution. The principal asset of this building lies in the presence of interesting architectural elements: hidden medieval fireplace, row of posts with prismatic decoration and grand staircase leading to the cellars.
