Château édifié entre 1530 et 1540, sans doute par François Fume, maire de Poitiers. L'édifice se compose d'un corps de logis rectangulaire, cantonné de deux tours circulaires sur sa façade postérieure. Deux ailes courtes en retour d'équerre se trouvaient sur la cour, mais ont disparu durant la seconde moitié du 19e siècle. Au rez-de-chaussée, les fenêtres sont ornées de chapiteaux à volutes en corne de bélier, avec l'abaque orné d'un motif végétal ou d'un masque. La base de l'escalier en vis se situait sur l'élévation ouest. A l'intérieur, présence de caves voûtées en plein cintre.

History
Castle built between 1530 and 1540, probably by François Fume, mayor of Poitiers. The building comprises a rectangular main dwelling, flanked by two circular towers on its rear elevation. Two short wings set at right angles were present on the courtyard, but disappeared during the second half of the 19th century. On the ground floor, the windows are adorned with capitals with ram's-horn volutes, with the abacus ornamented with a vegetable motif or a mask. The base of the spiral staircase was located on the west elevation. Inside, the presence of cellars with round-arch vaults.
