Maison fondée en 1770 à partir des dons et aumônes des habitants de Château-Larcher et Marnay, dans le but de secourir les laboureurs indigents et les journaliers malades. Un escalier de six marches mène à une terrasse constituant le devant de la maison. Au rez-de-chaussée, le corps principal s'ouvre par une porte encadrée d'une moulure plate supportant un linteau légèrement curviligne. Deux ailes en retour encadrent ce corps principal.

History
House founded in 1770 from the donations and alms of the inhabitants of Château-Larcher and Marnay, with the purpose of relieving poor labourers and sick day-labourers. A staircase of six steps leads to a terrace constituting the front of the house. On the ground floor, the main body opens with a door framed with a flat moulding supporting a slightly curved lintel. Two wings in return frame this main body.
