Historique
La première mention connue date de 1389. Le château se compose d'un grand bâtiment rectangulaire, flanqué de deux tours cylindriques sur les angles de la façade sud et d'une tour d'escalier pentagonale vers le milieu de la face opposée. Les deux longs côtés sont percés de grandes croisées richement décorées de fines moulures qui se développent parfois en accolades multiples sur le linteau. Les pignons ont conservé, à la naissance des rampants, deux sculptures de félins en ronde-bosse. L'intérieur a conservé sa distribution ancienne. Toutes les pièces possèdent une cheminée, plus grandes et décorées dans les pièces du corps de bâtiment. La distribution verticale s'effectue grâce au large escalier en vis dont les revers de marches sont creusés d'arcs de cercle pour faire jouer la lumière. A son dernier palier prend naissance un petit escalier qui desservait une pièce au sommet de la cage et qui est logé dans une tourelle en encorbellement à culot mouluré. Ce château est représentatif d'une série de logis de la deuxième moitié du 15e siècle.

History
The first known mention dates from 1389. The castle comprises a large rectangular building, flanked by two cylindrical towers on the angles of the south facade and a pentagonal staircase tower towards the middle of the opposite face. The two long sides are pierced with large mullioned windows richly decorated with fine mouldings which sometimes develop into multiple accolades on the lintel. The gables retained, at the start of the rampants, two sculptures of felines in the round. The interior retained its original distribution. All the rooms possess a fireplace, larger and decorated in the rooms of the main building. The vertical distribution is effected by means of the wide spiral staircase whose step backs are hollowed out with circular arcs to make the light play. At its last landing begins a small staircase which served a room at the top of the cage and which is housed in a corbelled turret with a moulded corbel. This castle is representative of a series of dwellings from the second half of the 15th century.
