Le donjon se compose d'un bâtiment carré, avec rez-de-chaussée et trois étages dont l'accès se fait par une tourelle d'angle. A chaque étage subsiste une grande salle et un petit couloir aboutissant à une échauguette. Les chambres sont éclairées d'un seul côté par des fenêtres dont l'une a conservé ses meneaux. Le rez-de-chaussée est percé d'une seconde ouverture sur une autre face, celle qui supporte les échauguettes. Des remaniements ont dû être réalisés sur les ouvertures et les toitures au cours du 17e siècle. A l'intérieur, chaque étage possède une cheminée. L'entrée de la salle du premier étage est constituée par un porche double à panneaux-serviettes, surmonté d'une galerie de bois sculpté.

History
The keep consists of a square building, with ground floor and three storeys, access to which is by a corner tower. At each storey a large hall and a small corridor leading to a watchtower remain. The rooms are lit from one side only by windows, one of which has retained its mullions. The ground floor is pierced with a second opening on another face, the one supporting the watchtowers. Alterations must have been made to the openings and roofs during the 17th century. Inside, each storey has a fireplace. The entrance to the hall of the first floor is constituted by a double porch with panel-serviettes, surmounted by a gallery of sculpted wood.
