Villa construite (sans permis) dans les années 1950 par Georges-René Fournier, architecte-ingénieur auprès d'une filiale de la Sociéte Générale des Eaux. Oeuvre de sa vie, elle prend place entre deux blockhaus dont l'un sert de cave à la maison. La villa est classée par le ministère de la Marine en tant qu'amer pour la navigation. La villa présente une forme en demi-cercle, agrandie d'un appendice vers le nord. Une cour précède la maison vers le sud, avec ses blockhaus qui servaient de citerne. Une pergola en demi-cercle fait le pendant à la villa posée sur un socle de béton à gradins. La maison est desservie par un escalier rocaille partant du jardin et contournant le bloc principal. Son architecture est en volumes arrondis. Les caves sont sur deux niveaux et les étages sont en retrait les uns par rapport aux autres, chaque débord formant la terrasse de l'étage supérieur. History
Villa built (without permission) in the 1950s by Georges-René Fournier, architect-engineer with a subsidiary of the Société Générale des Eaux. A life work, it is situated between two blockhouses, one of which serves as a cellar to the house. The villa is classified by the Ministry of the Navy as a seamark for navigation. The villa has a semi-circular form, enlarged with an appendage towards the north. A courtyard precedes the house to the south, with its blockhouses which served as cisterns. A semi-circular pergola forms a pendant to the villa set on a stepped concrete base. The house is served by a rockery staircase starting from the garden and going around the main block. Its architecture is in rounded volumes. The cellars are on two levels and the storeys are set back from one another, each overhang forming the terrace of the upper storey. The elevation facing the sea advances its four levels in semi-circle punctuated by columns which support or surround the terraces and which frame the openings. The exit from the cellars, in the basement, allows boats or beach equipment to be led directly to the seashore.
