Le château est situé sur une plateforme rectangulaire protégée de douves. L'enceinte, qui semble remonter au 14e siècle, est également rectangulaire. Deux tours sont placées aux angles sud-est et sud-ouest. Le donjon qui servait de porte d'entrée, est construit en saillie au centre de la façade nord. Il se présente comme une masse carrée flanquée, à chaque angle nord, d'une petite tour circulaire. Un pont-levis et une poterne furent restitués en 1936. Embrasures voûtées avec meurtrières . History
The château is situated on a rectangular platform protected by moats. The enclosure, which appears to date from the 14th century, is also rectangular. Two towers are placed at the south-east and south-west angles. The keep which served as the entrance gate, is built projecting at the centre of the north façade. It presents itself as a square mass flanked, at each north angle, by a small circular tower. A drawbridge and a postern were restored in 1936. Vaulted embrasures with loopholes. The gate is protected by an opening at height which can serve as a machicolation. On the second floor, in the middle of the room, a hole allowed reaching the besiegers who would have crossed the bridge. At the level of this floor, the staircase communicated by a drawbridge set in the wall and placed in a small projecting square tower, with the wall walk, placed above the north wall which retains traces of machicolations. The wall on the left, of which the pull-backs remain on the north side of the keep, was demolished during sieges or collapsed. A wall was built set back in the 18th or 19th century.
