History
The building, whose construction spans from the early 12th century to the 14th, retains elements from the Romanesque period. From the first church remain the transept square with dome on squinches; the transepts of the transept retain sculpted elements. The transept is inserted between a Gothic sanctuary (14th century) which doubtless replaced a Romanesque apse, and a 12th-century nave. Fasciculated columns retain Romanesque capitals. The west portal, in pointed arch, is ornamented with palmettes. The capitals are ornamented with figures associated with facing chimeras.
