Maison en pans de bois, la plus caractéristique des maisons de ce genre conservées à Saint-Jean-d'Angély. Elle s'élève de deux étages sur rez-de-chaussée, le deuxième étage étant en encorbellement sur le premier. Le rez-de-chaussée est occupé par une boutique et le pilier qui soutient l'angle des deux façades est en pierre. C'est une grosse colonne avec chapiteau mouluré.

History
Timber-framed house, the most characteristic of houses of this type preserved in Saint-Jean-d'Angély. It rises two storeys above the ground floor, the second storey being corbelled out over the first. The ground floor is occupied by a shop and the pillar which supports the angle of the two façades is in stone. It is a large column with moulded capital.
