Le temple a pris la place de l'église qui avait été construite au cours du 17e siècle et dont la façade a été conservée. En mai 1798, l'église fut achetée par les Protestants pour leur servir de temple. Ils en transformèrent l'intérieur tout en conservant la façade. History
The temple took the place of the church which had been built during the 17th century and whose façade was preserved. In May 1798, the church was purchased by Protestants to serve as their temple. They transformed the interior while preserving the façade. The latter is a rather rare example of Jesuit architecture of the 17th century in the region. Its somewhat cold appearance is softened by the side entrances which formerly served, one as an entrance to the convent, the other as a small entrance to the church.
