L'église existe dès le 11e siècle. Elle fut donnée à l'abbaye de Baignes vers 1066 par l'évêque de Saintes. L'édifice est de plan rectangulaire. La nef est couverte par une voûte à nervures en plâtre ou briques. Le choeur a été reconstruit au 13e siècle. Façade à arcades. Portail à quatre voussures entre deux portes aveugles. Au-dessus du portail, cinq arcs portés par des colonnes. Au sommet, clocher arcade moderne.

History
