Historique
Edifice du 15e siècle, modifié au 16e par l'ouverture de nouvelles baies dans la tour située à l'angle. Le donjon semble antérieur au château et devait commander l'accès à ce dernier. C'est une grosse tour rectangulaire, flanquée d'une petite tour carrée contenant l'escalier qui se continue au dernier étage par une tourelle polygonale. La partie supérieure est moderne. Dans la cour du château se trouve l'ancienne église, longtemps paroissiale, redevenue chapelle privée en 1874. L'édifice date du 12e siècle mais le choeur a été rebâti au 15e. Situé dans le parc, le pigeonnier fut sans doute édifié au début du 17e siècle. Le nombre impressionnant de boulins, s'élevant sur cinq niveaux, exprime l'étendue du domaine à cette époque. De plan circulaire, il est surmonté de lucarnes à fronton triangulaire. L'échelle tournante a disparu : il n'en subsiste que la base de pierre.

History
Building of the 15th century, modified in the 16th by the opening of new openings in the tower situated at the corner. The keep appears to predate the château and was meant to command access to it. It is a large rectangular tower, flanked by a small square tower containing the staircase which continues at the top storey by a polygonal turret. The upper part is modern. In the courtyard of the château is found the former church, for a long time parochial, which became a private chapel in 1874. The building dates from the 12th century but the choir was rebuilt in the 15th. Situated in the park, the dovecote was doubtless built in the early 17th century. The impressive number of nesting holes, rising over five levels, expresses the extent of the estate at that time. Of circular plan, it is surmounted by dormers with triangular pediments. The spiral staircase has disappeared: only the stone base remains.
