Historique
Eglise de style roman 12e siècle. Le plan, en forme de croix latine, comporte une nef de quatre travées. La voûte a été refaite en briques au 19e siècle. Le transept comporte deux absidioles formant chapelles latérales à l'abside. Ces trois dernières parties sont voûtées en pierre et les chapiteaux historiés. Le centre du transept supporte une coupole allongée de forme octogonale se terminant à son sommet par une ouverture circulaire. Elle est montée sur trompes et supporte un clocher quadrangulaire. La porte accuse un remaniement prismatique vers la fin du 15e siècle. Le fronton est intact et comprend, sur le premier plan, quatre arcatures avec colonnettes et deux sur le second. Il existe, de chaque côté et à hauteur du sol, des pierres plates cannelées qui semblent prouver que cette façade a été décorée en byzantin et qu'il y avait une église antérieure. Le sol extérieur a été exhaussé. La partie extérieure de l'abside présente des archivoltes de fenêtres chargées de sculptures en damier, zigzags, billettes, têtes de diamant...

History
Church in Romanesque style, 12th century. The plan, in the form of a Latin cross, comprises a nave of four bays. The vault was remade in brickwork in the 19th century. The transept comprises two absidioles forming lateral chapels to the apse. These three latter parts are vaulted in stone and have historiated capitals. The centre of the transept supports an elongated dome of octagonal form terminating at its summit by a circular opening. It is mounted on squinches and supports a quadrangular bell tower. The door shows a prismatic alteration towards the end of the 15th century. The pediment is intact and comprises, in the foreground, four arcatures with small columns and two in the background. There exist, on each side and at ground level, fluted flat stones which seem to prove that this façade was decorated in Byzantine manner and that there was an earlier church. The external ground level has been raised. The outer part of the apse presents archivolts of windows laden with sculptures in a chequerboard pattern, zigzags, billets, diamond-heads...
