Historique
L'église est de fondation très ancienne, mais l'édifice actuel remonte au 12e siècle. Ce dernier a souffet des guerres de Cent ans et de Religion. Plan rectangulaire avec abside terminée par un mur droit. Les voûtes détruites ont été remplacées par un plafond cintré en plâtre. Au portail d'entrée, les deux voussures sont ornées de rinceaux, griffons et d'une tête plate. Les chapiteaux des colonnes partant des voussures, bien qu'abîmés, conservent un décor sculpté. Le mur nord a été refait mais conserve, à son sommet, quelques pierres romanes ornées. Le mur sud est percé d'une fenêtre romane sur la partie la plus proche de la façade. Il semble ensuite appartenir à une autre période de construction. De gros contreforts du 15e ou du 16e siècle appuient les murs.

History
The church is of very ancient foundation, but the present building dates back to the 12th century. The latter suffered from the Hundred Years War and the Wars of Religion. Rectangular plan with apse terminated by a straight wall. The destroyed vaults have been replaced by a coved plaster ceiling. At the entrance portal, the two voussures are ornamented with scrollwork, griffins and a flat head. The capitals of the columns rising from the voussures, although damaged, retain sculptured decoration. The north wall has been rebuilt but preserves, at its top, some Romanesque stones ornamented. The south wall is pierced by a Romanesque window on the part closest to the façade. It seems subsequently to belong to another building period. Large buttresses of the 15th or 16th century support the walls.
