L'église appartenait à l'ancien diocèse de Saintes. De plan rectangulaire à une seule nef et chevet droit. Nef couverte par un berceau brisé en pierre partant d'un cordon. Chapiteaux ornés de personnages et de griffons. Le carré du transept et le choeur sont couverts d'une voûte à nervures et à liernes, sur pilastres à l'ouest, sur consoles à l'est. La façade occidentale s'ouvre par un portail à trois voussures plein cintre, avec chapiteaux ornés d'animaux fantastiques et de têtes humaines.

History
The church belonged to the former diocese of Saintes. Rectangular plan with a single nave and straight chevet. Nave covered by a broken barrel vault in stone starting from a string course. Capitals adorned with figures and griffins. The square of the transept and the choir are covered with a rib and lierne vault, on pilasters to the west, on consoles to the east. The western façade opens by a portal with three round arch voussures, with capitals adorned with fantastic animals and human heads.
